Mexico Man Charged In West Breckenridge Shooting To Make First Court Appearance

A Mexico man who was shot and later charged in connection with a disturbance on West Breckenridge remains in the Audrain County Jail following his first court appearance this (Monday) morning.

30 year old Trayvon D. Walls was arrested on Friday for Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Walls was identified by Mexico Public Safety as the man who had been to a home in the 1000 block of West Breckenridge on Monday, May 24th several times through out the day, threatening residents and who was shot one time and then later crashed his vehicle on North Missouri Street.

Walls remains in the Audrain County Jail without bond, pending a bond review hearing next Monday.
