Increased camping demand at Mark Twain Lake has the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers extending camping season in some campgrounds.
The Little Bluestem Loop at Ray Behrens Campground, the Nighthawk Loop in Indian Creek Campground and the Clear View Loop at Frank Russell will be open until the end of October.
Ray Behrens and Indian Creek Campgrounds have some loops that remain open until November 22 to accommodate those wanting late fall camping.
