A Rush Hill woman was injured in a single vehicle accident on Wednesday morning.
The 20-year-old woman was traveling south on Route B at about 4:42 a.m. Wednesday when she drove off the right side of the road and overcorrected.
The vehicle struck a ditch and came to rest in a corn field just south of Rush Hill.
The woman, who was not wearing a seat belt, had moderate injuries and her car was totaled following the crash.
She was taken to University Hospital by ambulance.
Drivers in Mexico, Missouri should plan ahead this week. The City of Mexico says the Clark Street Bridge will be closed on Wednesday, July 8, from 7 a.m. until approximately 1 p.m. while Public Works crews perform maintenance on and around the bridge.
Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route during the closure to avoid delays.

The company behind several canceled Fourth of July fireworks shows in mid-Missouri says a November accident at its Buffalo facility led to manufacturing delays that ultimately prevented it from fulfilling some holiday contracts.
AM Pyrotechnics, now operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection,
caused the canceled or postponed shows in Mexico, Osage Beach and Camdenton.
In a reported statement, CEO Aaron Mayfield apologized to affected communities, saying the company worked to save as many displays as possible before determining some could not be completed safely.
Mayfield says decisions were based on available inventory, staffing, equipment and other operational factors.
Mexico first responders were called to assist with a natural cover fire in the 2300 block of Fairground Road on Saturday. The issue occurred around 12:25 p.m. when responding personnel found a flame moving quickly through tall, dry grass.
The fire was extinguished before damaging any other personal property, but burned about one acre of land prior to being put out. Area residents reported hearing someone shooting fireworks in the area just prior to noticing the fire. There were no injuries from the incident.
Crews will begin resurfacing the student parking lot at MHS Today as part of ongoing campus improvements.
chool officials say the parking lot will be closed during the work, and anyone visiting the campus is asked to use caution and avoid the construction area.
The project is aimed at improving facilities for students, and administrators are thanking the community for its patience while the work is completed.

A Mexico man is in custody after leading an officer on a pursuit twice yesterday {Wednesday} morning.
Probable cause statements say that at around 2:12 a.m. Wednesday, an officer tried to pull over 24-year-old Dontavis K’Patrick Aaron for a modified exhaust and for running multiple stop signs in the Muldrow and Jackson Street area, before Aaron sped away and escaped the officer.
The same officer reported seeing Aaron about an hour later and Aaron allegedly led the officer on another short pursuit, running stop signs and speeding, but eventually pulled over around 3:38 a.m. on Holt Street.
Aaron has been charged with Aggravated Fleeing a Traffic Stop, Operating a Vehicle without a Valid License, Failure to Yield to an Emergency Vehicle, and Operating a Motor Vehicle in a Careless and Imprudent Manner.
He was taken to the Audrain County Jail without bond and has a bond review scheduled for 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 9th.
Several Fourth of July fireworks displays across the region have been disrupted after multiple communities say they hired the same Springfield-based vendor that later went bankrupt.
Mexico, Missouri’s Noon Lions Club Firework show has been Canceled and also been added to the growing list of communities experiencing issues tied to the same vendor.
Osage Beach had already postponed its Heart of the Lake FreedomFest fireworks show to July 11,
while a Camdenton golf club canceled its display entirely.
Officials in Mountain Home, Arkansas also reported changes to their plans.

A Mexico man is facing multiple charges after police say he was connected to an overnight burglary.
The Mexico Public Safety Department says officers responded Wednesday morning to a reported burglary in the 600 block of Summit Street.
Investigators identified 31-year-old Jeremy Bell as a suspect.
Later that afternoon, officers located Bell with the help of a citizen’s tip.
Police say Bell fled on foot but was taken into custody after a short chase.
He was booked into the Audrain County Jail on charges of second-degree burglary, stealing, resisting arrest, and possession of a controlled substance.
