Mexico Public Safety Department Report 11/15/21
ARRESTS:
Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 31 year old Mary C. Angell on Saturday, November 13th for a violation of protection order.
42 year old Joshua D. Sewell arrested on Saturday for a Chariton County warrant.
CALLS FOR SERVICE:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, November 12th:
A property dispute on West Breckenridge.
A scam at the corner of Park Creek Drive and Fairground.
Public Safety went to the following calls for service on Saturday:
A peace disturbance at the Carson apartment building.
A domestic verbal incident on Saturn.
A property dispute on South Calhoun.
An unwanted subject at North Western.
A stealing or theft on Amelia Drive.
Shots fired reported at North Olive and North Clark.
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Sunday):
A domestic verbal incident on Howell Manor Court.
A suspicious person at West Monroe and on Ashley Court.
A domestic physical incident at North Olive.
Threats on East Holt and at North Olive.
Property damage on North Clark.
CAR ACCIDENTS:
A pedestrian was taken to the hospital with injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Mexico on Friday.
According to Mexico Public Safety the accident happened in the 2700 block of South Clark when a vehicle driven by 34 year old Eric Huddleston of Auxvasse hit 35 year old pedestrian Michael O’Connor.
According to the accident report Huddleston was distracted and talking to a passenger in the vehicle when it happened.
O’Connor was taken to the University Hospital for treatment.
A 1 car accident reported on Fairground and Lakeview yesterday (Sunday):
According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 22 year old Mathew Whiteside of Mexico lost control of a vehicle and hit the curve with the right tire and the tire broke off.
No injuries were reported.
