A third candidate seeking a 3-year term on the Mexico School Board filed yesterday (Tuesday).
Scott Nichols filed yesterday.
Nichols previously served on the Mexico School Board and is Lt. fire fighter with Mexico Little Dixie.
He joins Heather DeMint and Nicole Jahn in seeking a 3 year term.
Kara Clovis is only person to file for a one year term on the Mexico School Board during the April, 2022 election.
The one year term was created after Dustin Pascoe resigned in September.
The filing deadline ended last (Tuesday) night at 5pm.
The election will be held on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022.
