Mexico School Board And Mexico City Council Candidates Set For April Election

With the filing deadline for races on the Mexico School Board and the Mexico City Council ending this week the candidates are set for the April, 2022 election.

Running for one open seat on the Mexico City Council is incumbent Chris Williams.

He is being challenged by Josh Price.

There are 2 open seats on the Mexico School Board for a three year term.

Three people are running including incumbents Heather DeMint and Nicole Jahn along with former Mexico School Board member Scott Nichols.

Kara Clovis is only person to file for a one year term on the Mexico School Board during the April, 2022 election.

The one year term was created after Dustin Pascoe resigned in September.

The filing deadline ended December 28th at 5pm.

The election will be held on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022.
