Woman Injured In Two Car Accident In Mexico Wednesday Morning

One person is recovering from injuries after a 2 car accident in Mexico yesterday (Wednesday) morning.

Mexico Public Safety responded to the accident just before 10 am in the 1900 block of East Liberty.

According to the accident report a vehicle being driven by 42 year old Richard Whipple of Mexico was stopped to yield to oncoming traffic and waiting to turn south, when a vehicle driven by 30 year old Darin Raleigh Jr. of Mexico failed to keep a proper lookout and a collision happened.

44 year old passenger Emily Smith complained of neck and head pain and was taken to the Audrain Community Hospital in Mexico for treatment.
