Mexico Wrestlers Add More Hardware To The Trophy Case After Competing At State Tournament

The State wrestling tournament is in the books and the Mexico wrestlers brought home some hardware once again.

Senior Keith Ransom brought home a 2nd place finish to end his highly decorated high school wrestling career.

Freshman Grant Van Horn recorded a fourth place finish.

Veteran Ricky Juarez put up a fifth place finish and finished his career at the Mexico High School as a 2 time State Medalist.

And Senior Dylan Mosely earned his first medal at the State Tournament taking 6th place.

The Mexico boys wrestling team is led by head coach Gayle Adams.

Representing the Mexico High School girls wrestling team for a 2nd consecutive year was Katie Bowen, who made it to the Blood Round at the State Tournament.

The Mexico girls wrestling program just completed their second season and are led by head coach Tony Senor.

The State wrestling tournament was held at Mizzou Arena and took place this past Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
