ARRESTS:
Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 21 year old Sha’Neisha N. Belcher yesterday (Tuesday) for leaving the scene of a crash and 2nd degree domestic assault.
CALLS FOR SERVICE:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Tuesday):
A suspicious vehicle on Jubel Drive.
A runaway juvenile at West Buchanan.
A civil dispute on West Maple and at West Liberty.
A scam on Ashley Street.
An assault with injury at South Jefferson.
A suspicious vehicle on South Jefferson.
Displaying a weapon at West Boulevard.
Trespassing on Latney.
A stealing or theft at South Union.
A suspicious person at the West Plaza Shopping Center.
Shop lifting at 4820 South Clark.
A missing person reported on East Whitley.
CAR ACCIDENTS:
A one car accident yesterday (Tuesday) at 4:33pm on Liberty at Sannebeck. According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 19 year old Carson Neale of Mexico started to pass another vehicle, slammed on the brakes and left the road. The vehicle then overcorrected traveling across the road spinning completely around, hitting a ditch with the front end, spun around and hit the ditch with the rear end of the car. Neale was taken by private vehicle for medical treatment.
A 2 car accident on Breckenridge at Olive yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon. According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 22 year old Sha’Neisha N. Belcher of Mexico hit a vehicle driven by 24 year old Austin R. Cash of Mexico as it attempted a left hand turn. No injuries were reported.
