The Mexico Bulldogs baseball team lost 3-2 to the Hannibal Pirates last (Tuesday) night on the final play of the game.
Austin Maxwell started the game for the Bulldogs and lasted six innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out one.
Sam Ryan, Daeye Miller and Tyler Thoenen each collected one hit to lead Mexico’s offense.
The Bulldogs are 10-4 on the season and return home to play Kirksville tomorrow (Thursday) night.
