ARRESTS:

Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 56 year old Jeffery W. Hunnington on Saturday for unlawful use of a weapon, property damage and armed criminal action.

Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 62 year old Clifford M. Deatsch on Friday, May 6th for a Callaway County warrant.

CALLS FOR SERVICE:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, May 6th.

A suspicious person at North Kentucky and on North Wade and at the West Plaza Shopping Center.

A stealing or theft on West Monroe.

A suspicious vehicle at Ringo.

Drug activity in progress on East Bolivar.

A neighbor dispute at Latney.

Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Saturday.

A suspicious noise on West Boulevard.

A fight in progress at East Monroe.

A stealing or theft on Meadowlark Lane.

A missing person at MacFarlane.

A fraud on South Jefferson.

Property damage at the Paris Road apartment building.

A suspicious person on West Monroe.

Shots fired reported at East Monroe and Whitley.

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Sunday).

A suspicious vehicle at West Monroe.

A kidnapping reported at the corner of Onie and North Coal.

A neighbor dispute at North Clark.

A suspicious person on North Jefferson.

Harassment at South Clark.

Animal abuse or neglect on South Muldrow.

Threats at North Clark.

ACCIDENTS:

A two car accident on Friday, May 6th at East Liberty and Highway JJ. According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by a 16 year old Mexico resident did not see a vehicle driven by 45 year old John Malcolm of Benton City and could not speed up and hit the drivers side of Malcolm’s vehicle. The 16 year old complained and neck pain and abrasions on his arm.

 

A two car accident on Trinity and Central yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 66 year old Marla Jackson of Columbia ran a stop sign and hit a vehicle driven by 32 year old Sedrick Rucker of Moberly. No injuries were reported.
