Mizzou short stop Josh Day became the Tigers baseball program’s first all-conference selection since 2019 when he was named 2nd Team All-SEC yesterday (Monday).

Day led Mizzou with 67 hits in 2022 and scored a team-high 50 runs.

The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 7-3 in ten innings in grand fashion at Busch Stadium last (Monday) night.

Paul Goldshmidt hit a grand slam to drive in Lars Nootbar, Tommy Edman and Edmundo Sosa in the 10th to give the Redbirds the victory.

St. Louis wraps up their two-game series with Toronto tonight (Tuesday) at Busch.

The Kansas City Royals lost 9-5 to the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Royals starting pitcher Zack Greinke returned to one of his former home ballparks and was tagged for seven earned runs in 2 2/3 innings in their series-opening loss.

The St. Louis Blues fell 6-3 to the Colorado Avalanche in Game 4 of the Western Conference Second Round at the Enterprise Center.

David Perron scored twice for the Blues.

St. Louis trails 3-1 in the best-of-seven series.

Game 5 will be in Colorado tomorrow (Wednesday).

The Boston Celtics beat the Miami Heat 102-82 last (Monday) night in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

The series is tied at two games apiece.
