KXEO News has obtained a copy of the probable cause statement involving a Eugene Field Elementary PE teacher Katrina Dukes who is accused of swinging a bag of dodge balls at a student. Click the link below to read the probable cause statement.

DUKES PROBABLE CAUSE STATEMENT

According to Audrain County Prosecutor Jacob Shellabarger, Dukes is being charged with child abuse and endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree.

Child abuse is a class D felony and endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree with physical injury is a class C felony.

A court date has not been set as of this time.

Ms. Dukes will be served a summons and notice with her court date.
