Mexico Public Safety Department Report 7/14/22

CALLS FOR SERVICE:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Wednesday).

A domestic verbal incident on South Coal.

A neighbor dispute at the Marine Drive apartment building.

911 abuse or misuse on East Holt.

A domestic verbal incident at Josephine and on North Clark.

Trespassing at Omar.

CAR ACCIDENTS:

A one car accident on Wade at Love. According to the accident report it happened yesterday (Wednesday) when a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old Mexico boy was going to turn on North Wade and the brakes failed causing the vehicle to hit a water hydrant. The vehicle came to rest on Wade at Love. No injuries were reported.

A two car accident on Boulevard at Singleton. According to the accident report it happened yesterday (Wednesday) when a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Kyle Vansickle of Mexico was driving east on Boulevard near Singleton and a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Casey Jolly of Mexico drove next to Vansickle’s vehicle and hit it. Vansickle then turned north on Singleton and where and was followed by Jolly’s vehicle and was hit a second time. No injuries were reported.

A two car accident on 923 Hassen yesterday (Wednesday) at 5:32 pm. According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old Mexico girl was backing out of a parking spot and failed to keep a proper lookout and backed into a vehicle driven by Tia Johnson of Mexico. No injuries reported.

A two car accident on Boulevard at Omar yesterday (Wednesday) morning. According to the accident report it when a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Vesta G. Prater of Mexico was hit by a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Joseph W. Hutchinson of Mexico. No injuries were reported.
