A man threatened patrons of a the U.S. Bank located in the parking lot of Parkade Plaza in Columbia, threatening to shoot people at about 11 am Friday morning. Police arrived, the man fled, leading officers on a car pursuit.
Out of caution, Moberly Area Community College, located in the Plaza, was locked down for a short period.
No one at the bank was injured.
As of 12:25 pm Friday, no arrests had been made.
