The Cards had a somewhat rare home loss last night to Washington Nationals, 11-6, just the fourth loss in the last 24 home games.

Molina hit a two-run homer in the third and a solo over the wall in the fourth.

St. Louis announced yesterday that for the seventh time in his career, Paul Goldschmidt has been named his team’s nominee for the prestigious Roberto Clemente Award.
