Eleven apartments and the complex office at Forest Village Apartments in Mexico receive extensive damage in an early-morning fire.
Mexico Public Safety was called to the fire early this (Friday) morning in the 1200 block of West Breckenridge and were met with heavy smoke and fire.
Mutual aid was requested from Little Dixie Fire Protection District in order to extinguish the blaze.
No injuries were reported and the investigation into the origin and cause of the fire remains under investigation.
