A light agenda faces the Mexico City Council for their first meeting of the new year.
They will decide on an ordinance imposing an additional sales tax on marijuana sales in the city.
If passed, the issue will be placed on the April 4th ballot for voters in the city to approve or deny.
In other council business, they will hear a resolution allowing the City Manager to enter into a hangar lease agreement.
The meeting begins at 6:00 this (Monday) evening in the council chambers at City Hall.
