A 37-year old Mexico man is behind bars awaiting formal charges for distribution of controlled substances.
According to the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office, Garey D. Reeves was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in Mexico yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.
Reeves was in possession of distribution amounts of fentanyl and U. S. currency consistent with the illegal distribution of illegal substances.
Reeves is held without bond for first degree drug trafficking pending the official filing of those charges by the Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney.
