Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Thursday, April 7, 2023:
- Fraud at 1726 East Liberty.
- Assault without injury on East Whitley.
- Suspicious vehicle at Mars.
- Ex-parte violation on Carson.
- Vehicle break-in at South Union.
- Domestic verbal incident on Adams Street and at East Whitley.
Car accidents:
Two Mexico residents are recovering from injuries after a two-car accident in Mexico yesterday (Thursday) morning.
According to the accident report from Mexico Public Safety it happened on Agricultural at Audrain County Road 308.
A vehicle driven by a 56-year-old Melissa May of Mexico was traveling south on Agricultural and was hit by a vehicle driven by 16-year-old boy from Mexico that was crossing Audrain County Road 308.
Both drivers were treated and released by Audrain Ambulance District at the scene.
