A former Audrain Community Hospital employee who broke into the hospital and caused damage last year is pleading guilty.
Geoffrey Allen pleaded guilty to second-degree property damage in court this week.
According to court records the judge suspended his 30-day jail sentence and instead gave Allen two years of unsupervised probation.
Allen was accused of breaking into the Audrain Community Hospital on April 13, 2022 and destroying a water fountain and breaking glass out of a trophy case.
The break-in was just weeks after Noble Health suspended services and furloughed employees.
Allen was a furloughed employee at the time of the incident.
