The St. Louis Cardinals were scheduled to play the New York Yankees at Busch Stadium last (Friday) night, however mother nature had different ideas.
The game was postponed because of inclement weather.
It will be made up tonight (Saturday) at 6:15 as the finale of a split doubleheader, with the first game set to start as originally planned at 1:15.
The Kansas City Royals were defeated 9-3 by the Los Angeles Dodgers at the K last (Friday) night.
Dodgers slugger Mookie Betts was a thorn in the Royals side as he homered twice and went 4 for 4 with four RBI’s.
The Royals and Dodgers are back at it again tonight (Saturday) with a 6:15 start.
