Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, June 30, 2023:
- Domestic physical incident at South Abat/Breckenridge.
- Shots fired reported on Fairground and at North Jeffries.
- Suspicious person at the South Clark apartment building and on South Jefferson/Boulevard and at South Olive/Promenade.
- Careless and imprudent driver on East Breckenridge/Green Boulevard.
- Threats at Jubel Drive and on West Monroe.
- Drug activity in progress at South Olive.
- Child abuse or neglect reported on Hassen/Boulevard.
- Domestic physical incident at West Breckenridge.
- Burglary in progress on South Trinity.

- Suspicious person at West Monroe.
- Careless and imprudent driver on Hendricks/Jefferson.
- Domestic verbal incident at West Breckenridge.
- Stolen vehicle reported on East Central.
- Stealing or theft at West Whitley.
- Property damage on Morningside and at East Breckenridge.
- Stealing or theft on Vance Road.
- Assault without injury at North Clark.
- Harassment on East Holt.
Mexico Public Safety responded to these calls on Sunday, July 2, 2023:
- Domestic verbal incident at West Breckenridge.
- Suspicious person on South Trinity and at Woodlawn.
- Stealing or theft on Fairsite Drive.
- Stolen vehicle reported at 4224 South Clark and on South Trinity/Seminary,
- Domestic physical incident at East Jackson.
- Property damage on West Breckenridge/Muldrow.
Car accidents:
A one-car accident on Saturday, July 1, 2023 in the 600 block of South Clark.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Rodney Thomas of Mexico was traveling north on South Clark.
The vehicle left the roadway and hit a light pole. According to Mexico Public Safety, the driver fled the scene and into his residence and was later identified as Rodney Thomas.
No injuries were reported.
A two-car-accident on Agricultural and East Liberty on Friday, June 30, 2023.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old boy from Auxvasse was trying to turn left onto Green Boulevard from East Liberty and did not see a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Charles Wood of Auxvasse who had a green light when a collision happened.
No injuries were reported.
