A Louisiana, Missouri man is dead following a one-car accident in Pike County last night (Thursday).
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol it happened on northbound Highway 79 north of Pike County Road 245.
A vehicle driven by 38-year-old Nicholas A. Twilla traveled off the road and hit a tree.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by Pike County Ambulance personnel.
