Mexico Public Safety says they responded to several incidents on Saturday afternoon, after a strong storm system moved through mid-Missouri that included Mexico and Audrain County.
Officers from Mexico Public Safety responded to the 700 block of Morris Street due to an electric line being across the roadway.
The Mexico Street Department, which was already out and helping Mexico Public Safety clear limbs from roadways, blocked Morris Street until Ameren could respond.
The wind and falling limbs also pulled a power line into some trees and brush along the city limits of the William Lowe Conservation Area.
Mexico Public Safety monitored the situation until Ameren could make it safe.
No real property was burned and there were no injuries from the incidents.
