The first application for a vacant seat on the Mexico Board of Education has been received today (Friday), August 11, 2023.
Lennette Brown submitted her application.
Brown is seeking to fill the unexpired term of Todd Yager who resigned earlier this month in order to spend more time focusing on his multiple businesses.
Mrs. Brown is a Mexico resident of 21 years and works at Arthur Center Community Health in Mexico.
Applications can be submitted through Wednesday August 23rd, 2023 at 4:30pm.
Applications can be found online or picked up at Central Office.
The School Board decided they will once again interview all people who submit applications for the vacant seat during a Special Session on Tuesday, August 29, 2023.
The School Board will also appoint a person to fill the vacant seat during the August 29th, Special Session.
