Mexico Public Safety is reminding residents that school is starting today (Wednesday), August 23,2023.
Public safety asks area residents to plan ahead and realize there will be more traffic around schools, especially in the mornings and afternoons.
Motorists are being asked to take extra time to watch for pedestrians and pay attention to school zone speed limits, and watch school bus stop arms.
