Mexico Man Arrested Accused Of Firing Gun Out Of Frustration With A Nearby Business

A Mexico man is facing charges after an arrest early this (Wednesday), morning for Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

According to a news release from Mexico Public Safety they responded to a call of gunshots being fired in the 400 block of West Monroe just before 2am.

Responding officers contacted 23-year-old Jacob L. Etheridge, in the area.

An investigation indicated Etheridge was impaired and fired a gun out of frustration with a nearby business.

Etheridge was arrested and processed at Mexico Public Safety, and later taken to the Audrain County Jail.

There were no injuries from the incident.
