The Mexico Bulldogs lost their home opener to the Southern Boone 49-14.
The Bulldogs would score their first touchdown of the season with 2:28 in the first quarter.
Peyton Hoover capped off a 64 yard drive with a five yard rush into the end zone and Mexico trailed 15-7.
Hoover ended the game with 62 yards.
Hunter Cuno put up 33 yards rushing for the evening with an average of 8.25 yards per carry.
Drew Demint finished with 25 yards on the ground.
And Korbyn Dorsey rounded the ground attack out with six yards.
The Bulldogs would score again with 3 minutes and 15 seconds left to go in the fourth quarter on a 50-yard touchdown pass from Tyson Carr to Shantz Dorsey.
The Bulldogs fell to 0-2.
