Mexico Bulldogs Drop Home Game To Hannibal Pirates

The Mexico Bulldogs lost 61-7 to the Hannibal Pirates tonight (Friday).

Mexico would get down early when Hannibal’s Aneyas Williams who rushed for a 66-yard score on the first play of the game.

Hannibal would put up 35 points in the first quarter.

Williams had four touchdowns.

Hannibal increased their lead to 55-0 by halftime.

The Bulldogs would score in the fourth quarter on a 42-year-old touchdown pass from Kaden Benne to Shantez Dorsey with two minutes left to go in the game.

Mexico’s ground game was led by Markus Perkins with 42 yards.

Drew DeMint put up 33 yards.

And the rushing attack was rounded out by Peyton Hoover with 14 yards.

Bulldogs starting quarterback Charlie Fisher was 1 for 1 passing.

Tyson Carr came into the game and went 1 for 1 passing.

And Kaden Benne went 1 for 2 for 66 yards through the air.

Mexico fell to 1-4 on the season and 1-1 in the North Central Missouri Conference.
