Calls for service:

Mexico Public Safety Department responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, October 20, 2023:

  • Suspicious vehicle at Springdale/Omar.
  • Assault without injury on West Boulevard.
  • Fraud at 2946 South Clark.
  • Stealing or theft on West Monroe.
  • Animal abuse or neglect at Barnes/Pearson.
  • Suicidal subject at West Liberty.
  • Suspicious activity on West Anderson.
  • Suspicious person at North Grand.

Public Safety went to the following calls on Saturday, October 21, 2023:

  • Harassment on West Monroe and at the South Jefferson apartment building.
  • Threats at the South Jefferson apartment building.
  • Suspicious person on North Wade and at South Muldrow.

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Sunday, October 22, 2023:

  • Stealing or theft on West Liberty/South Abat and at Fairground Road.
  • Suspicious noise on Hanley.
  • Suspicious person at Pollock Road and on Clay.
  • Property damage at Old Farm Road West/Summit.
  • Shop lifting on North Western and at 4820 South Clark.
  • Careless and imprudent driver on South Clark.
  • Domestic physical incident at Fairground Road.
  • Suspicious vehicle at West Pearson/Clark.
  • Stealing or theft on South Trinity.

Car accidents:

A two-car accident in the 900 block of Muldrow on Sunday, October 22, 2023. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report an unoccupied vehicle was stopped in the road after it ran out of fuel and was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 63-year-old Tony E. Johnson of Mexico. No injuries were reported.
