Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Tuesday), October 24, 2023:
- Suspicious noise on East Holt.
- Careless and imprudent driver on South Clark at Wal-Mart.
- Suspicious person at the West Plaza Shopping Center and on Schopp and at North Wade/Whitley and on West Breckenridge.
- Trespassing at North Elmwood Drive and on Western.
- Suspicious vehicle at Jubel Drive.
- Harassment on East Jackson.
- Threats at 808 East Liberty.
- Domestic verbal incident on South Morris Street.
Car accidents:
A two-car accident on Liberty at South Jefferson on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 61-year-old Kathi Hamilton of Mexico was heading north on Jefferson crossing the intersection of Liberty when a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Keleigh Strauss of Mexico failed to see Hamilton’s vehicle and a collision happened.
No injuries were reported.
