The Missouri Tigers football team added two more honors to the growing list of postseason awards on Wednesday, with head coach Eli Drinkwitz and Brady Cook earning recognition from the SEC.
The conference named Drinkwitz as Coach of the Year and Cook as Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

The Missouri Tigers women’s basketball team defeated Missouri State 81-63 last (Wednesday) night at Mizzou Arena.
As a team, the Tigers out-rebounded Missouri State 44-36.
Up next the Mizzou women meet up with former Big 12 foe 13th ranked Kansas State in Saint Joseph, Missouri on Friday at 5pm.

Former St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina has been named special assistant to the president of baseball operations for the organization.
Molina retired in 2022 following 19 Major League seasons with the Cardinals.

The Kansas City Royals acquired a pitcher from the Houston Astros in a deal announced yesterday (Wednesday) during the winter meetings.
The Royals are sending right-handed pitcher Dylan Coleman to Houston in exchange for minor league right-hander, 27-year-old Carlos Mateo.

The St. Louis Blues lost 6-3 to the Vegas Golden Knights at the Enterprise Center.
The Knights scored three times in two minutes and 36 seconds as part of a four-goal second period to rally past St. Louis.
