The Missouri Tigers men’s basketball team lost the Braggin’ Rights game last (Friday) night 97-73 to 13th ranked Illinois.

Sean East led the way for the Tigers, logging 18 points, including two triples, two rebounds and two assists.

The loss moves Mizzou to 7-5 for the season.

Up next the Tigers make their return to Mizzou Arena for the first time in nearly four weeks on Saturday, December 30th to face the visiting Central Arkansas Bears.

Tip-off is set for 2pm.

Mizzou Athletics announced yesterday (Friday) it has agreed to a six-year extension of the annual Braggin’ Rights game with the University of Illinois.

For more than 40 years, the non-conference basketball game has been played in St. Louis except one matchup held in Columbia due to COVID-19 in 2020.

The St. Louis Blues return home to the Enterprise Center tonight (Saturday) to host the Chicago Blackhawks.

Puck drops at 7pm.

The 9-5 Kansas City Chiefs host the 6-8 Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday.

Both teams are vying for a playoff spot with the Chiefs’ chance much better than the Raiders.

When the Chiefs played the Raiders in Vegas in Week 12, Kansas City came back for a 31-17 win.

Kickoff tomorrow is set for noon.
