The Mexico High School girls wrestler Karisa Hayden picked up a major milestone at the Seckman Girls Tournament on Saturday, January 27, 2024.
Hayden earned the 50th win of her career.
Hayden met the milestone in quick fashion as she only wrestled for two seasons.
Mexico girls wrestling head coach Tony Senor said “She is the hardest working girl in the room and she is winning some big time matches!
She has a great attitude at all times, she listens, and she is willing to do anything for the team.
She has helped win a lot of duals filling in the 170 and 190 spots when we need to.
She has only wrestled for two seasons and I wish I could have her again.
She is one of the toughest girls I have ever coached and she will be missed next season.”
Alexus Johns brought home a first place finish in the 235 pound division.
Katie Bowen and Abbie Bowen each took second place in their respective weight classes.
