Jaydon Eldridge And Karlee Sefrit Light Up The Scoreboard As Mexico Defeats Macon In Non-Conference Games

The Mexico boys and girls varsity basketball teams defended their home court with wins over the Macon Tigers on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.

The Mexico Lady Bulldogs defeated the Macon Tigerettes 53-42.

Mexico’s offense was boosted by senior forward Karlee Sefrit who finished with a career high 17 points.

Grace Hudson put up 12 points and Claire Hudson recorded 11 points.

The Lady Bulldogs improved their record to 9-10.

The Mexico Bulldogs boys took out the Macon boys 70-34.

It was a slow start for Mexico.

The Bulldogs trailed by three points half through the first quarter.

Mexico picked up the pace in the second and third quarters and cruised to their 16th win of the season.

Jaydon Eldridge led all scorers with 21 points and hit three-three pointers.

DJ Long followed up with 14 points.

And PJ Perkins treated the crowd to a monster jam and 11 points.

Up next the Mexico boys and girls varsity teams hit the road on Friday for a conference game against the Moberly Spartans.
