Mexico Public Safety Department Report 2/1/2024
Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Wednesday, January 31, 2024:
- Suspicious person on West Liberty.
- Stealing or theft at Mars and on East Jackson.
- Natural gas odor at North Olive.
- Domestic physical incident on West Breckenridge and at South Clark.
- Unwanted subject on South Morris Street.
Car accidents:
No injuries reported in a two-car accident on South Clark at Boulevard during the morning hours of Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 45-year-old Lesley Shoemaker of Mexico crashed into the back of a vehicle driven by 63-year-old Wendy Umstatto of Paris.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
