Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Tuesday, February 21, 2024.
- Suspicious person on West Street and at Lakeview Road and at Howell Manor Court and on Garfield and at North Western.
- Careless and imprudent driver on West Buchanan/Muldrow.
- Property damage at West Boulevard.
- Runaway juvenile on West Breckenridge.
Car accidents:
Mexico Public Safety responded to a one-car accident in the 1600 block of North Jefferson on Tuesday, February 21, 2024.
According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 67-year-old David Femmer of Mexico was traveling south on North Jefferson.
Femmer grabbed something from the floor board and swerved into the ditch.
The vehicle was towed.
No injuries were reported.
