Hannibal Resident Taken To Hospital After Vehicle Accident In Mexico On Thursday Night
A Hannibal resident is recovering from injuries after a one-car accident in Mexico during the evening hours of Thursday, February 22, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened just before 11pm at 1115 East Promenade.
A vehicle driven by 26-year-old A’shyrune Deal-Linwood of Hannibal was speeding on Green Boulevard.
The vehicle swerved to miss another vehicle and failed to negotiate a turn onto Liberty.
The vehicle jumped the median on Liberty and then jumped a curb and crossed over MLK and hit a dumpster.
The vehicle then crossed over Promenade and hit a curb and came to a halt.
The driver was taken to University Hospital by ambulance.
The severity of the injuries was not listed.
