Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 39-year-old Jason J. Hoaver for Second Degree Domestic Assault on Monday, April 1, 2024.

- Domestic verbal incident at North Clark.
- Suspicious person on Adams Street and at Quantico Road.
- Unwanted subject on Gray and at West Monroe.
- Fight in progress on Summit/Agricultural.
- Animal abuse or neglect at the West Love apartment building.
- Suspicious noise on West Breckenridge.
- Domestic physical incident at North Olive.
- Property dispute on South Singleton.
Car accidents:
No injuries reported in a two-car accident at 721 West Monroe in Mexico on Monday, April 1, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Sylvetri Ray of St. Louis attempted to make a right turn onto North Wade and miscalculated.
Ray’s vehicle began backing up on West Monroe and backed into the front of a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Emily Scoggin of Centralia.
No injuries reported after two-car accident on Liberty at Clark on Monday, April 1, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 67-year-old Gerry Blair of Mexico stopped at a stop sign and was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Zoey Martinez of Mexico.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
