Community conversations are continuing with C2C a collaboration of NBA head coach Tyronn Lue to revive Mexico and ensure all residents have access to the opportunities and resources they need to thrive and succeed.

C2C expanded their community conversations with four separate sessions with students at the Mexico High School on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
A cross section of about 100 students were randomly selected in hopes to gather a diverse group of students to include different ages, race, gender and socioeconomic status that could give a voice to the entire student body to share their ideas of how to create a thriving and successful Mexico for young people in the future.

Mexico High School junior Carter Blackburn says he would like to see community members more connected.
Other ideas included more career classes being offered, more affordable housing and better economic opportunities.
C2C director Kerri Ferrari says they will compile the information gathered and put it in a report to move forward with plans on what actions need to happen to move to the ideal, thriving community.
