Mexico Man Left With Serious Injuries After Motorcycle Accident Jefferson City
A Mexico man has serious injuries following a motorcycle accident in Jefferson City during the evening hours of Sunday, April 14, 2024.
According to the Jefferson City Police Department it happened in the eastbound lanes of US Highway 54 at the Madison Street overpass.
Responding officers determined the motorcycle operator 53-year-old Michael Robbins was traveling eastbound on US Highway 54 and lost control entering the curve.
Robbins was ejected from the motorcycle after it hit the driving lane’s guardrail.
Robbins suffered serious injury and taken to the University of Missouri Hospital for treatment.
Eastbound US Highway 54 traffic was diverted to Madison Street as both lanes were shut down for about 90 minutes during the investigation.
