A Hallsville school bus was involved in a crash during the afternoon hours of Thursday, April 25, 2024.
According to the Boone County Fire Protection District the bus rear-ended a vehicle at the intersection of Route B and HH, leaving the roadway and ending up in a ditch on the side of the highway.
No one on the bus was injured.
The driver of the vehicle that was rear-ended had minor injuries.
Hallsville School District administrators and a second school bus were sent to the scene as soon as the district was notified, according to district spokesperson Kari Yeagy.
Students were transferred to the second bus and continued on their route after the scene was declared safe.
