Calls for service:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, April 26, 2024:

  • Attempted burglary reported on North Clark.
  • Trespassing at 4820 South Clark.
  • Stealing or theft on North Wade.
  • Careless and imprudent driver at Lakeside Place/Western and on West Monroe.
  • Suspicious person at Emmons.
  • Shots fired reported on the Highway 54 bypass.

Public Safety went to the following calls for service on Saturday, April 27, 2024:

  • Careless and imprudent driver at North Mississippi and on Allison Street/Jefferson.
  • Domestic physical incident at the West Love apartment building.
  • Suspicious vehicle on Mars and at Hendricks/Wade.
  • Natural gas odor on Mockingbird Drive.
  • Fraud at Mars.
  • Stealing or theft at 2925 South Clark.
  • Shots fire reported on South Jefferson.
  • Suspicious person at Wilmar/Virginia.

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Sunday, April 28, 2024:

  • Domestic verbal incident on MacFarlane.
  • Property damage at South Muldrow.
  • Threats on West Love.
  • Assault with no injury at West Maple.
  • Stealing or theft at 508 East Liberty.
  • Domestic physical incident on Hendricks.

Car accidents:

No injuries reported following a two-car accident in 2000 block of South Clark on Sunday, April 28, 2024.

According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Edward Jimenez of Mexico did not see a vehicle in front of him slowing driven by 77-year-old Joyce Smith of Mexico and a rear-end collision happened.
