Mexico High School senior Aidan Knipfel signed his letter of intent to play golf with Columbia College during a signing ceremony held at the Mexico High School sports complex on Thursday, May 2, 2024.
Aidan has had an excellent golfing career at the Mexico High School. He has earned All-District honors, All-Conference Honors and made several appearances at the State Tournament.
He was also an instrumental part of the Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball team that was just one game away from a Final Four appearance during the 2023-2024 season.
Aidan talks about why he chose Columbia College.
Aidan is the son of John and Carey Knipfel.
His sister, Lily, is a Mexico High School alum and recently graduated from Columbia College, where she also played golf.
