Mexico Baseball’s Drew DeMint Is All-Conference

Mexico High School baseball center fielder Drew DeMint has been selected to the North Central Missouri All-Conference Team.

DeMint led Mexico in batting average on the season and as a whole batted .294 in the NCMC.

So far this season Demint has hit two homeruns, five doubles, and recorded seventeen RBI.

Mexico head coach Daniel McCarty says Drew’s flashy defense covering shallow and deep fly balls solidified him for All Conference.

DeMint was perfect defensively in the outfield with 35 putouts.

He also had a nine game hitting streak and nine stolen bases.

He batted .289 overall.
