Mexico Bulldogs Varsity Basketball Team Breaks Out The Dunks At Monroe City Shootout

The Mexico Bulldogs varsity basketball team went 3-0 in the Monroe City Shootout on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

The Bulldogs defeated Keokuk 56-26.

Mexico beat Macon 75-16.

And the Bulldogs took out Green City 57-25.

Carl and Charlotte Hirst where spectators at the game and reported 10 dunks in total on the day split between Mexico’s Charlie Fisher, Jaydon Eldridge, and PJ Perkins.

Head coach Darren Pappas says “We played really good defense and team oriented offense.

The boys got after it which caused several opponent turnovers that we were able to capitalize into points.

Very unselfish play by all eight guys.”
