Arrests:

Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 26-year-old Lillian A. Rotte for an Audrain County warrant on Saturday, June 15, 2024.

21-year-old Austin E. Taylor was arrested for an Audrain County warrant.

Calls for service:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, June 14, 2024:

  • Domestic verbal incident on South Muldrow.
  • Sexual assault reported at East Central.
  • Shoplifting at 4820 South Clark and at 828 West Monroe.
  • Suspicious person on Monroe Place and Yale.

Mexico Public Safety Department went to the following calls for service on Saturday June 15, 2024:

  • Suspicious person at East Holt.
  • Suspicious vehicle at 4800 South Clark.
  • Indecent behavior on Venus.
  • Careless and imprudent driver on East Jackson and Highway 15.
  • Shoplifting at 4820 South Clark.
  • Stealing or theft on South Clark at the South Trails Shopping Center.

Public Safety went to the following calls on Sunday, June 16, 2024:

  • Careless and imprudent driver on West Monroe.
  • Displaying a weapon on West Monroe.
  • Threats at South Coal and on Friendship Drive.
  • Fight in progress at West Monroe.
  • Suspicious person on Woodlawn.
  • Domestic physical incident at Summer Ridge Road.

Car accidents:

A two-car accident on Kent Road at West Curtis on Saturday, June 15, 2024. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Ryan J. Hunn of Mexico stopped at a stop sign and then began backing up. Hunn’s vehicle struck the front of a vehicle driven by 79-year-old Susan W. Haas of Mexico. No injuries were reported.
