Mexico Bulldogs Complete University Of Central Missouri Team Camp

The Mexico Bulldogs competed in six games over three days at the University of Central Missouri Team Camp with the conclusion on Friday, June 21, 2024

Mexico went 5-0.

The Bulldogs defeated Benton (St. Joe), MO 46-39.

Mexico then lost 44-42 to Roxana, Illinois.

The Bulldogs would put up four consecutive victories to finish out the day.

With a 58-26 win over Odessa, MO.

A 50-29 dominance of Festus, MO.

A 66-48 win against Aurora, MO.

And a 44-38 victory over Dardanelle, Arkansas.

Head coach Darren Pappas says “The team played really solid defense through the team camp.

Jaydon Eldridge, Charlie Fisher, and Kaden Benne led the offensive charge at all three levels, around the rim, midrange, and from three.

Holden Aulbur was a force on the glass and in the paint.

Sam Ryan and Kinser Groves did a great of defending and making plays around the rim.

James Mathews and Hunter Bickell gave us a spark off the bench and contributed great minutes.

As a team, we moved the basketball and found the open man on the offensive end.

Defensively we forced a lot of turnovers which we converted into transition points.

Very pleased with how each of our players competed and played over the course of the team camp.”
