A Mexico woman is recovering from moderate injuries following a two-car accident in Callaway County during the afternoon hours of Monday, July 1, 2024.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report it happened on Route J north of County Road 328.
A vehicle driven by a vehicle driven by 72-year-old Julia A. Pottebaum of Mexico, crossed the center of the roadway, and into the path of a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Micheal D. Seigel of New Bloomfield.
Seigel’s vehicle ran off the road as Pottebaum’s vehicle struck Seigel’s on the driver’s side.
Pottebaum was taken to University Hospital with moderate injuries.
Seigel was transported to University Hospital with minor injuries.
